• Hotel Tximista,generates all of the energy it consumes via renewable systems, making it 100% sustainable. The establishment uses thermal solar energy for hot water and heating. The hotel also has two mini-power stations for electricity production.
• For the Hotel & Spa Mirador de Ulzama,includes a vacuum-tube solar system for running hot water, the spa area and the heated outdoor swimming pool.

Within this perspective of socially responsible investment, bioclimatic criteria have been taken into consideration in the design of all the establishments, as has the appearance of the local area so as not to disrupt the natural attraction of each environment.

Finally, the hotels in the chain are also characterised by the increasing introduction of accessibility measures for people with disabilities. The Sanvirila hotel chain was counselled by the PREDIF Foundation (Spanish platform representing the physically disabled) in this respect.
